It has been almost nine months since Edward passed away. It is still hard to believe that he won’t come through the door. I was one of the very lucky ones. I married my one true love and spent forty-eight wonderful years with him. We had difficult times such as the loss of our first born son, Edward. As time went on the loss of parents and friends also caused pain. But through it all we had a life full of laughter, joy, and total commitment to each other. We always ended each day with a private, “I love you”.
There was always great respect, truthfulness, and honor in our relationship. We hoped that our children would follow that tradition in their relationships.
Edward was so proud of his children and grandchildren. I wish he would have had more time to see the “Little ones” grow up.
