Nancy Vincent sent us this wonderful shot of Li-Li and Samantha playing together at the Parent Infant Program. The wee ones received their cochlear implants a week apart this past fall.

    Thanks Valerie! They are such good friends and have a blast together, beautiful and rambunctious little ci-borgs that they are. They love the fact that they both have cool processors. I’m amazed and delighted to see their relationship develop like this at such an early age. Li-Li’s such a little social butterfly — truly one argument for nature over nurture given that I’m such a hermit.

    I LOVE that picture!!!! How CUTE! Those two girls and that huddle of babies between them is just adorable :)

    This is a picture perfect portrait of friendship… :)

    I was wondering if you could go over to Brianna’s Journey, Brianna’s mom created this blog because she is having her first cochlear implant surgery this coming Tuesday and she needs support, especially from moms that have been there. Would you mind popping over there and dropping a few words of wisdom? I would really totally appreciate it!
