Want to share with you that there is a wonderful deaf american guy who opened his business few years back...a travel agency. He is now married to a deaf italian woman and they both have 2 deaf children and they're quad-lingual (they communicate in LIS (Lingua Italian Sign meaning Italian Sign Language); Italian; American Sign Language and English!! Isn't that awsome?!! I know them quite well and his wife used to be my student at Gallaudet when she came for 1 year. That little tongue made me laugh, too, even though I was looking at all that sweet blue stuff, thinking "1. that "Horton hears a who" short stack had better be vegetarian (no elephant) and 2. is that all SUGAR????" Oh my gosh — you guys are so, so sweet! Thank you!!!
