Congratulations! I wish you nothing but luck in the coming ears with your newest addition :) That last picture had me cracking up. The pigtails, the determination in her face, the tongue and the most colorful stack of pancakes I have ever seen before in my life, its a precious picture :)

Forgot to mention how I loved it that you used the word "Pah"...that's powerful and your indication that you are a part of Anna-Li's and my world. ;)

If you don't get to live in Italy...you must at least visit. Want to share with you that there is a wonderful deaf american guy who opened his business few years back...a travel agency. He is now married to a deaf italian woman and they both have 2 deaf children and they're quad-lingual (they communicate in LIS (Lingua Italian Sign meaning Italian Sign Language); Italian; American Sign Language and English!! Isn't that awsome?!! I know them quite well and his wife used to be my student at Gallaudet when she came for 1 year. Check out his website "Hands On Travel" and here is the website: http://www.handsontvl.com/hot/ He is Terry Giansanti. You'll find him fascinating and he'll be glad to communicate with you.

Oh my gosh -- you guys are so, so sweet! Thank you!!!

But yeah, I have to admit we sort of look at her in wonder every day. That little tongue made me laugh, too, even though I was looking at all that sweet blue stuff, thinking "1. that "Horton hears a who" short stack had better be vegetarian (no elephant) and 2. is that all SUGAR????"
