Shirley, this is very weird, isn't it, but how wonderful that we're intersecting like this?! What are the odds? HengFeng Social Institute, to be specific about where in Nanchang our little one (who was named Cen Li Ning in China) came from, but everyone there said she looked very different from the children in that area, and was likely left there from elsewhere.

I may have watched your little one play soccer not long ago! Li-Li was fascinated by a group of "big kids" playing the game on the new field, especially one little girl who looked a lot like Li-Li. Beautiful, of course! I think I even asked MaryJane about her.

I planned to leave all kinds of contact info. for you today, but we were sidelined by a virus and got the boot from daycare: had to make a quick trip to the doctor to make sure all was well (and it is). I'll check in with Nancy tomorrow!

Okay, so now... I have explored more of your blog and am very excited! Our daughters are both from Nanchang! How amazing is that? Of all the places either of them could be from in China, they are both from Nanchang! We brought our Lily home in October 2003. If you are interested, I'd love to chat with you sometime. You can get my personal information from Nancy or Carol at the school. I will let them know it is okay to give you that info. My own Lily has watched the activation video of your little one three times. She thinks your daughter looks like her. My Lily use to wear her hair in the same pony tail on top of head when she was little. Shirley

absolutely loved your blog!!!! What a beautiful little girl!!! She is precious! great videos! She reminds me of my own little one, Lily Ming, who also attends the Learning Center - kindergarten! I remember those earlier days at PIP, when Lily was small. Would love to touch base with you sometime - since we're at same school with our Chinese beauties!!
