As I’m effectively writing my baby’s life story online, I’m struck by how different her childhood will be from my own. I think this video pretty much sums up my history in 5 minutes. Or at least the history of the Net in 5 minutes. But given that I recall hovering at my mother’s side as she lovingly scripted out text-based dungeons for me to explore on the old Commodore 64, I actually had homework on punchcards in high school, and won’t ever admit how many bleary-eyed morning I dragged myself away from the island of of Kesmai, I’d say this pretty well captures me and the Net at once!
