This morning we found that the CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs) in Beijing has matched babies to parents logged in between Aug 10 - Aug 25 ‘05! So those lucky parents are getting referrals this week and just might get their wee ones by the holidays. We are LID August 30, ‘05, so expect to get that referral for a little one (or ones) a month from now, and then travel 2 months later.
Time to hit those Mandarin CDs … and Grendel hasn’t yet learned the “don’t wake the baby” no-barking command. Oddly, she and I are progressing at about the same rate.
