Ahab has successfully awakened from surgery! Dr. Talaat said it went very well, although was slightly unusual in some details: she explained that the tumor is in his shoulder bone, rather than in the leg itself, requiring a bit of fancy footwork, so to speak. We don’t yet know when he can come home, but we can visit him out in lovely Grafton tomorrow evening.We both — all — thank you so much for your kind thoughts / calls / prayers / emails!!!!
