John & I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our very first egg, laid early morning yesterday. Proud hens and roosters are doing well. Photos are rough — I was a bit too excited to focus properly, but I’ll add many more photos in the next few days as eggs continue (yes, another arrived on schedule today!)With medium brown (organic) store-bought egg for comparison and likely suspect (based on rudimentary profiling technique) perched atop my unnaturally mannequin-like arm.
